What a ride it's been! In less than an hour Simon will drive us to the Melbourne airport. It has been a great half year and it's bittersweet to be leaving.
Our drive from Sydney to Melbourne lasted a couple days. We arrived into Melbourne, did the car drop-off thing, got picked up by Simon and were whisked away to their beautiful acreage in Lancefield - about an hour out of Melbourne. We enjoyed time in their village, went to Hanging Rock for a great walk, took a trot on Lisa's horse Billy, visited Melbourne city centre, and went back in time at Sovereign Hill (historic gold mining site).
